Chinese dramas on Prime Video

Amazon's Prime Video carries a small and changing selection of Chinese dramas. Of the dramas we track, we found two on Prime Video when we checked from the US in October 2026.

Those two show the different routes. Story of Yanxi Palace had all 70 episodes marked free to watch with ads. Go Ahead streams through Toku, an add-on channel you subscribe to separately through your Amazon account, not through Prime itself. Some other shows are included with a Prime membership, and Prime Video also rents or sells some titles, though we haven't found a C-drama we track offered that way. Our Where to Watch panel shows which route applies to each drama in your region.

Subtitles come with the licensed version of the show, so languages vary by title. Both dramas we checked have English subtitles.

Prime Video's catalog differs a lot between the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and titles move in and out as licenses change. A drama that turns up in an Amazon search may not play in your country. We record the date we last checked each country so you can judge how current our listing is.
