Chinese dramas on WeTV

WeTV is the international service of Tencent Video, one of China's largest streaming platforms. If a drama premiered on Tencent Video in China, WeTV is often where viewers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia can watch it officially.

WeTV uses a free-plus-VIP model, but how much is free varies a lot. When we checked from the US in October 2026, some dramas we track had their first few episodes free with ads, while others, such as Against the Current, had every episode marked VIP. Our Where to Watch panel shows the access type we found for each drama in your region.

Subtitles are official. English was listed on every WeTV drama we checked, and several newer titles list a dozen languages, including Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Arabic and Spanish.

WeTV's catalog is strongest for Tencent's own productions, including many xianxia, modern romance and youth dramas. Some Tencent dramas are also licensed to Netflix or Viki, so a show missing from WeTV in your country may still have another official home. Licensing varies by country, and we record the date we last checked each one.
